THE BANKRUPTCY PROCESS
In most cases, the entire bankruptcy process consists of completing the Official Bankruptcy Forms, filing them with the bankruptcy court and attending a brief "341a" meeting with a bankruptcy trustee. No court hearing is required in most cases.
When an attorney is hired to file bankruptcy, the attorney asks the client for the information needed to complete the Official Bankruptcy Forms. This information is then typed onto the Official Bankruptcy Forms by the attorney’s secretary or paralegal using automated bankruptcy form software. The forms are then signed by the client and sent to the bankruptcy court. A few weeks later, the client attends a brief meeting with a bankruptcy trustee and subsequently receives a final discharge order in the mail.* The typical fee charged by a bankruptcy attorney is $1,800 to $4,000.
A HIGH DEMAND BUSINESS
Last year, an average of 5,821 bankruptcies per day were filed in the U.S. by individual consumers. These individuals paid an estimated $2.2 billion in attorney fees to file bankruptcy. With escalating unemployment rates and record numbers of foreclosures being filed, bankruptcy filings are on the rise and affordable bankruptcy attorneys are in very high demand.

INTRODUCTION
“Bankruptcy” is a federal program established by United States Congress to provide debt relief to persons and organizations suffering from financial difficulties. Bankruptcy can immediately stop creditors’ harassing telephone calls, lawsuits, court judgments, foreclosures, repossessions, wage garnishments, tax levies and more.
Chapter 7 bankruptcy can completely eliminate credit card debts, medical bills, personal loans, utility bills, federal income taxes over 3 years old and most other types of unsecured debts.
Chapter 13 bankruptcy allows individuals up to 5 years to catch up on delinquent mortgage, property tax and car payments. Chapter 13 can even reduce the principal balance on an automobile loan to the vehicle’s current value, reduce monthly car payments by as much as 50%, and strip off underwater (unsecured) mortgages.
Finding clients that need your bankruptcy services will be easy because we’ll show you how to market your bankruptcy practice on the Internet with free and sponsored advertising, so your advertisements will be seen by thousands of potential clients actively searching for an affordable bankruptcy attorney in your area. We’ll even provide you with your own law firm website and multiple email addresses.
We’ll show you how to send direct mail advertisements to individuals being sued for consumer debts by banks, credit card companies and collection agencies.
